Our Company was established by Mr. Nic Alberts (Snr) and opened its doors for business in April 1980 as an After Market Service and Supply Company to the Opencast Mining industry.

Nic Alberts did his Apprenticeship and Trade with GM before moving on to The Gardner Denver Company / Cooper Industries of the USA as a Service Manager, Actively involve in Blasthole Drill Rigs and Compressors of all Models and sizes under the GD logo.

During his many years of employ at Gardner Denver Nic was sent to the U.S on Numerous occasions for Training and Design input on GD Drill Rigs as we know them today; returning to assist and advise in the continued performance of Maintenance of Blasthole Drills all over Africa.

After many Years of travelling and Servicing the Opencast Mining Community, Nic Alberts saw an Opportunity to provide the Opencast Mining Industry with a Personal Service and Maintenance Company on all Makes and Models.

So in early 1980 Rotary was established and has evolved into a company that now Owns and Operates its own Blasthole Rigs, aswell as being a Company that can; Source, Supply from Stock and Manufacture, Parts and Accessories to the OEM specifications and Standards for:

We have been part of many joint ventures with our Customers / Partners in the Rebuilding and Maintenance of their Machinery since those early days in 1980.
